People Purpose Planning

People Purpose Planning aims to support arts, cultural and third sector organisations to achieve high performance by focusing on their people, their purpose and the effectiveness of their planning processes.


In order to achieve our organisational goals we need to develop and maintain relationships with all our stakeholders and constantly seek out new relationships with people and organisations that share our vision – inviting them to get involved with the work.

Most of all it is important that people understand what you do and why – the more effectively, and authentically, you can communicate the passion that drives the work, the more likely it is that people will support you and advocate for the work on your behalf.

So this is about…

  • CLARITY – of vision and mission – How well does this communicate what you do and why?
  • NETWORKS – of stakeholders, existing and new – Do you have a good map of your stakeholders?
  • RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT – keeping people informed about the work and creating opportunities for direct involvement – What systems do you need to support this?

I have experience of a number of models to support the development of a relationship management system that enables you to communicate effectively and powerfully with the people and organisations you want to reach.
